Message	Continuing the ever evolving saga of my 5 year sound system installation. A while back I ran all the speaker wire, auxiliary, subwoofer inputs, +12V power wire, +12V remote wire, etc... Last year I finished installing my rear Infinity Kappa 6" speakers (this was a bitch to get the 2 spacers right on the driver side while the passenger side needed none). I also replaced my 6-channel Inifnity amp that shit the bed with a smaller, better, and more powerful Rockford Fosgate model. Last weekend I finally ripped my door panel off to take out the old Bose speakers and fit my Infinity Perfect 6.5's. I found this article extremely helpful after dicking around with the thing for an hour - I didn't know the seat belt anchor and screw had to come out... Door-trim Removal Took me a while to realize I needed to re-route the big black cable to make the brackets fit properly. Also found that the included speaker spacers are necessary, the magnets just barely clear the window glass with them: I will have to drill the speaker brackets to fit the speakers and spacers, I am going to mount the tweeters to the black plastic triangle things (they just pull right off) behind the side mirrors. The huge crossover is going under the floor board on the passenger side, not sure what i am going to do with the driver side. My head unit is crapping out so I bought a new one. Not too stoked about pulling the center console again. My requirements were 1DIN, variable color, remote control, bluetooth, and dual powered USB (to power the removable Nexus 7 that is going to be mounted w/Dockem Koala Clips over the center air vents). Can't beat 99 bucks at Wallie World: JVC KDR730BT The cherry on top is this programmable/learning IR remote that attaches to the steering wheel.
